Punta Cana Princess Dominican Republic - Day 3

Uh-oh...day three already....time is flying fast...although I have to say it is a very enjoyable time. Today we designated "beach day" so we were up about 6:00 a.m. to grab a good spot on the beach, then off for a quick breakfast.

The Punta Cana beach has lots of resorts and each one has a portion of beach with beach chairs and thatched roof umbrella things you can get under for some shade. We got a good one with a view of the beach and the ocean. People are walking up and down the beach all day.

There is para-sailing, boat rides and tours, swimming, sailboarding and more. Lots of activities, or you can lay in the sun, get a tan, drink bananna mama's and girl watch. The Punta Cana resort is an adult resort, so the women are often topless.....yes...topless....oh my!! A girl watcher's paradise!

It was sunny and hot! A great Caribbean Beach Day! We had lunch at the Mare Nostrum, a smaller buffet style a la cart restaurant located on the resort close to the beach. Not bad, although I prefer the Casabe.

After spending most of the day at the beach, we made our way back to the swimming pool around 4:00 for a swim. We went back to the room for a rest, then got ready for the beach party supper! The resort sets up tables and food on the beach, a roast pork supper with all kinds of extras on the beach in the sand. It was a beautiful night, warm, with the ocean for a backdrop, music playing and lots of food and drink!

That night we were all pretty tired, but we paid our nightly visit to the lobby to check emails, have a drink, then off to bed by 9:30. The beach party kept going until later in the evening with dancing and lots of fun by the sounds of things! We were just too full and too tired....Pacing yourself is something you need to do at these all inclusive resorts. We were trying, but it is a challenge.
